Hove Office

Nick Ericsson FCA - Partner

Nick trained in London with the city practice, Moore Stephens, qualifying in 1978. He moved on to a local office of Grant Thornton where he became a manager before joining Clark Brownscombe in 1984 and becoming a Partner in 1986. He became Senior Partner in 1999.

Nick enjoys working with the owners of medium sized family businesses, and has a varied range of clients including electronic engineering businesses, information technology development businesses as well as more traditional family Estates.

Nick is married with a teenage son, and enjoys travelling and golf in his leisure time.

John Thacker BSc FCA - Partner

After studying Economics and Politics at Bristol University, John qualified as a chartered accountant at the Cambridge office of a national firm of accountants. He moved to Sussex in 1991, before joining Clark Brownscombe the following year.

Since becoming a partner in 1993, he has acted for a wide range of clients of the firm, including a large number of charities and professional practices.

John is married with three children, and is a keen follower of rugby and cricket.

Lewes Office

Robert Scrivins BA(Hons) FCA CIOT TEP - Partner

Robert studied accounting and finance at University in Brighton before joining a local practice. After qualifying he spent two years with Grant Thornton in Worthing before joining Clark Brownscombe in July 1991.

Robert became a partner in 1993 and is responsible for our Lewes office.

Robert is married with two children. He enjoys hockey, swimming, travelling and eating, and is a qualified tennis coach - so there is something to fall back on if all else fails!

Vicky Anderson BA(Hons) FCA - Partner

Due to the continuing growth of the firm, Vicky Anderson became a partner in the firm on 1 January 2008. 

Vicky joined the firm in 1987 after completing a degree in Intellectual History at Sussex University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

Vicky is based in our Lewes office.
