Hove Office

Nick Ericsson FCA - Director

Nick Ericsson qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1978 with the city practice Moore Stephens. Nick joined Clark Brownscombe in 1984 from Grant Thornton, and became a partner in Clark Brownscombe in 1986.

Nick acts for a wide and varied portfolio of clients including electronic engineering businesses, information technology businesses as well as more traditional family estates.

Nick combines his role as Chairman of Clark Brownscombe with his favourite pastimes, in no particular order, of travel, food and golf.

Nick is married with one son.

John Thacker BSc FCA - Director

John Thacker qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. He joined Clark Brownscombe in 1992 from the Brighton office of KPMG and became a partner in 1993. John is based in our Hove office and acts for a wide range of businesses and organisations, in particular for  charities and professional practices.

John prepares our charity newsletter, has produced a number of articles on charity matters  and recently obtained his Diploma in Charity Accounting. For more details see our Charities Section.

John is married with three children. He enjoys reading business and personal development books, as well as being a keen follower of rugby and cricket.

Lewes Office

Robert Scrivins BA(Hons) FCA CTA TEP - Director

Robert Scrivins qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 and joined Clark Brownscombe  in 1991 having spent three years with Grant Thornton in Worthing and having trained with a firm in Hove. Robert became a partner in 1993.

Robert is responsible for the affairs of a wide range of businesses including landed estates, charities and commercial businesses.

Robert is also a Chartered Tax Advisor, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner and recently obtained his Diploma in Charity Accounting. In his spare time Robert likes to keep himself busy playing squash, tennis, hockey, swimming and attempting to Salsa dance! He is  married with two daughters.

Vicky Anderson BA(Hons) FCA - Director

Vicky Anderson qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 having trained with Clark Brownscombe and became a partner in January 2008.

Vicky is responsible for advising a diverse client base including musicians and foreign entertainers as well as preparing and auditing the financial statements for the Lewes office’s largest clients.

Vicky is married with two children but still finds time for the occasional round of golf as well as acting as treasurer of her children’s school PTA. Vicky is a keen cruciverbalist.
